This institution was started in 1982 in memory of our pioneer late Bishop Matthias Fernandes, started with only 30 students in the campus of the Virgin of Poor Church, now it has grown from strength to strength and today we can boast with 2500 students. This could not have been possible without the vision and dedicated service of the Bishops, Secretaries, Heads, both past and present and the support and co-operation of our parents and dedication of our staff.MDES is the Mysore Diocesan Educational Society, which was registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act on 11.03.1966 during the princely state of Mysore.
MDES was formed to impart value based quality education. It has been rendering service to the people of all caste/creed/race or colour in the field of education since 1966. This is being achieved through its 150 institutions in the four districts of Karnataka namely Mysore, Mandya, Kodagu and Chamarajanagara.
