School annual report of year 2019-2020

The academic year 2019-20 began on 1 June 2019, We began it with a grand celebration imploring the blessing of God Almighty. The newly admitted students along with all the I STD students were welcomed with burning lamps, blooming flowers and sweets. Rev. Fr. Roy Joseph addressed the students imploring God’s blessings. The school which started like a mustard seed with 84 students in the year 2016 has now grown into a mighty tree consisting of 469 students from Pre K.G. to 10th Std.

Arts and sports

In view of the all-round development of the students and in order to provide a wholistic education to the students we give training in Karate, Music, Dance, Computer, Band set and Abacus etc. Academically backward students are provided with special coaching in order to help them to cope-up with the given syllabus. According to the needs of the students they are also offered counselling to promote their psychological growth. Madhushree of IX STD won Ist prize in the district level Karate championship. 11 students participated in the State and National level Karate championship in the year 2019 and won 4 Ist prizes 3 IInd prizes. Pranav P.G was selected to the state level chess competitions since he had perfomed well in the district level championship.

Tests and Exams:

Monthly tests and exams are the essential parts of our education. In the month of June we had conduct a bridge course for all our students. In July and August we conducted FA1, FA2 exams. Then in the month of September we have I semester examination after which we conducted  FA3, FA4 and SA2 exams. After each exam we show the answer paper and report cards to the parents for their awareness and feedback.  

Other events:

Our Block educational officer, CRP and other officers from the department of education  made many visit to our school and verified the documents and gave their valuable suggestions. We celebrated independence day, teacher’s day, children’s day and sports day.

Scholarship

Our management has deposited 6 lakhs of rupees to provide scholarships for 50 students every year and gives school fee concession to quite a big number of economically backward students.

Excelence in academics

We faced the problem of Covid -19 pandemic towards the end of the academic year. With the co-operation of the committed staff, we could prepare the students well for the public exam. We had an excellent result in the academic year 2020-21 with 100% pass and 95% of the students scored more than 80% in the academic. Druthi T.G scored 98% as the toper of the school.
